She is holds the Guinness world record for the fastest saree drape and the title of ‘Queen of Drapes’ she started her designing career at the age of eighteen by designing sarees for a label established by her mother. Being the daughter to a fashion designer and sheriff to Mumbai art and patriotism was in her deeply encoded in her DNA and was clearly reflected in her collection which she presented at Bombay Times Fashion week as an ode to The Armed Forces.
Her collection was an assemblage of exquisite hues of pastels, bold deep colours, and intricate design. The designer translated an array of classical wrap from different parts of country into the modern light without losing its ethos. Every outfit was full of regalia and a reminisce of cultural heritage that is etched in the six-yard staple.
