India gets its first Gay Pride Anthem

Big Boss reality show contestant Sushant Divgikar and the Swedish Music Producer Petter Wallenberg to give India its first gay pride Anthem – Love is Love. The music was launched on YouTube recently and is getting applauded by the audience. The lyrics of the songs all about coming out of the closet and celebrating the gay self.

“This track is very close to my heart and spreads the message that love always wins. This is a great time for this anthem to be introduced to the world and a new India that finally allows people to love freely and without fear.” Says Shushant.

The big boss contestant is seen explaining how LGBTQ has always been a part of our culture and we have been running away from it. After the scrapping of section 377 it feels like India is growing into accepting different sexual orientation. But is the society actually ready to accept the LGBTQ; the song is like a message hop and celebration to those members of LGBTQ community who are still in struggle with the society. Can this song be a sign that Indian is finally accepting the LGBTQ?
